Energy and Tech Lobbyist Joseph Greenberg, Ph.D., Joins Holland & Knight's Public Policy & Regulation Group
WASHINGTON (October 7, 2024) – Holland & Knight welcomes Dr. Joseph Greenberg as a senior policy advisor in Washington, D.C. Most recently, Dr. Greenberg was president of TechVentures Inc., an independent clean tech consulting firm, where he secured $2.5 billion in competitive grant funding and more than 100 competitive awards primarily from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for early-stage to Fortune 100 companies supporting research, development, demonstration and deployment.
Dr. Greenberg advises energy and technology companies in the areas of federal grant strategy, technical engagement with program managers and national laboratories, and project and proposal development. He has more than 15 years of experience working across the DOE, including the Offices of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), Electricity (OE), Fossil Energy and Carbon Management (FECM), Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy, Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED), Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains (MESC) and Grid Deployment (GDO). He has also worked with other agencies, such as the U.S. Department Agriculture, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Department of Defense, to support client projects.

Dr. Greenberg earned a Ph.D. degree in Applied Physics from Cornell University and a Sc.B. degree in Physics from Brown University.
