Holland & Knight Advises IDB Invest on $179 Million Financing for Banco Supervielle in Argentina
NEW YORK (September 26, 2025) – Holland & Knight advised Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest) as lender and implementing entity for the JICA Trust Fund for the Development of Latin America and the Caribbean (TADAC Fund), in a term financing of up to $179 million to Banco Supervielle S.A., a private bank in Argentina. The TADAC Fund is administered by the IDB Group. The transaction closed on September 15.
The financing consists of a loan of up to $179 million, structured by IDB Invest, with IDB Invest providing an A loan for up to $50 million, the TADAC Fund providing a fund loan for up to $50 million and certain participants contributing up to $79 million through a B loan structure.
This transaction will allow Banco Supervielle to use the funds to finance small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to promote financial inclusion, production and employment in strategic sectors.
