Overview
Joseph O. Bobo is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Tampa office. Mr. Bobo practices in the areas of business and corporate law, primarily focusing on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), securities, corporate governance, and general corporate matters. He advises public and private companies in their business operations and corporate transactions.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Bobo was a legal honors intern at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), in the Division of Trading and Markets.
During law school, Mr. Bobo was a member of the Stetson Law Review and served as a teaching assistant for Business Entities.
Mr. Bobo also has significant experience in fixed income investing and the financial markets. Before attending law school, Mr. Bobo worked as a senior portfolio associate on the trade floor at one of the world's largest asset management firms, underneath the chief investment officer for U.S. core strategies, where he helped manage a complex of funds with more than $165 billion in assets under management, and dealt with a variety of fixed income and derivative securities.
