Overview

Joseph O. Bobo is a real estate attorney in Holland & Knight's Tampa office. Mr. Bobo focuses his practice on the acquisition, disposition and leasing of commercial real estate. Mr. Bobo represents landlords, tenants, purchasers and sellers in commercial real estate transactions in Florida and nationally.

Mr. Bobo also has experience in business and corporate law, previously representing public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), securities and corporate governance matters.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Bobo was a legal honors intern at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), in the Division of Trading and Markets.

During law school, Mr. Bobo was a member of the Stetson Law Review and served as a teaching assistant for Business Entities.

Mr. Bobo also has significant experience in fixed income investing and the financial markets.  Before attending law school, Mr. Bobo worked as a senior portfolio associate on the trade floor at one of the world's largest asset management firms, where he helped manage a complex of funds with more than $165 billion in assets under management, and dealt with a variety of fixed income and derivative securities.
