Overview
Leonard C. Brahin is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Chicago office. Mr. Brahin frequently handles expedited matters, representing plaintiffs and defendants in litigation involving temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions in high-stakes business disputes, specifically in corporate governance conflicts.
Mr. Brahin's practice also involves offering ethics guidance and representation to attorneys facing disciplinary action or seeking professional advice. He has extensive experience researching salient constitutional matters involving the separation of powers, the First Amendment and administrative law.
While in law school, Mr. Brahin spent two semesters externing for the Honorable Thomas M. Durkin of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and one semester assisting with nearly two dozen appeals for the Honorable John Z. Lee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. During that time, he was an active member on the DePaul Law Review, Moot Court, Decalogue Society and Federal Bar Association.
Prior to law school, Mr. Brahin worked for a transportation logistics company in Chicago.
