Overview
Janisse Bruno is a real estate finance attorney in Holland & Knight's New York office. Ms. Bruno represents borrowers and lenders in a variety of sophisticated real estate financing transactions.
Ms. Bruno advises on mortgage and mezzanine loans, loan restructuring, loans structured for securitization as commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and collateralized loan obligations (CLOs).
Additionally, Ms. Bruno is experienced in negotiating and closing transactions involving retail, multifamily and mixed-use properties. She advises institutional investors, private equity sponsors, developers, financial institutions and asset managers throughout all phases of the real estate investment cycle, from due diligence and acquisition through financing, development, leasing and disposition.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Bruno gained significant experience in commercial real estate matters as an attorney at another law firm, where she primarily represented institutional lenders in connection with balance sheet loan origination transactions.
