Overview

Helen Adrian Cooper is a North Carolina attorney and a member of the Holland & Knight's Private Wealth Services Group. Ms. Cooper focuses her practice on the administration and litigation of estates and trusts.

Ms. Cooper primarily represents nonprofit organizations in contested and uncontested trust and estate matters. She has experience representing individuals as beneficiaries and executors as representatives of estates. Ms. Cooper also represents individuals and estates in income tax, estate tax and gift tax disputes.

Ms. Cooper began her career as an attorney with Holland & Knight in its Atlanta office and later worked in the firm's New York office. Prior to rejoining Holland & Knight, she worked for a software company, where she focused on transactional tax compliance.

In the community, Ms. Cooper has volunteered extensively with Meals on Wheels Inc. in locations such as New York City, Greenwich, Connecticut, and Morrisville, North Carolina. She currently serves as a volunteer guardian ad litem for a child in the foster care system in Wake County, North Carolina.
