James J. Duffy

James Duffy is a West Palm Beach attorney who focuses his practice on complex healthcare and insurance fraud investigation and litigation, as well as broker-dealer regulation and litigation.

Mr. Duffy has experience with all levels of the investigation and litigation process, including the identification of unlawful activity, presuit fact investigation and development, and devising theories of recovery resulting from unlawful activity. He handles matters involving predetermined treatments schemes, unlicensed activity and illegal ownership arrangements, among other types of fraudulent conduct.

In addition, Mr. Duffy represents broker-dealers and financial professionals in arbitration and state and federal court. Mr. Duffy's experience includes handling matters involving customer disputes, regulatory inquiries and investigations, employment disputes, recruiting litigation and other disputes between industry members.

Mr. Duffy previously worked at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), where he investigated broker-dealer misconduct.
