Overview
Megan Ehrhart is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Fort Lauderdale office and a member of the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. Ms. Ehrhart focuses her practice on commercial litigation in state and federal court, appeals and pro bono matters involving the Hague Convention and assisting military veterans.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Ehrhart served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Robin S. Rosenbaum of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She also worked as a certified legal intern in the Broward County State Attorney's Office, where she managed a daily docket in criminal court, argued successfully against motions to suppress evidence and participated in trials, including leading a bench trial that resulted in a guilty verdict. As a summer associate in Holland & Knight's Fort Lauderdale office, Ms. Ehrhart gained experience working on general litigation and appellate matters.
Prior to her legal career, Ms. Ehrhart was an investigative journalist in New York reporting on government, law enforcement, crime and the court system. She received two investigative journalism awards from the New York State Associated Press Association for her work uncovering sexual harassment by a government superintendent and a hidden criminal probe into a city police sergeant.
