Ismail M. Ercan

Ismail "Izzy" Ercan is an attorney in Holland & Knight's West Palm Beach office and a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. Mr. Ercan focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense, and fraud and asset recovery.

Mr. Ercan has extensive experience with federal litigation in the U.S. District Court for Southern District of Florida, having clerked for the Honorable Donald M. Middlebrooks and the Honorable Ryon M. McCabe. Additionally, while in law school, Mr. Ercan interned for the Honorable Bruce E. Reinhart, also in the Southern District of Florida.

In law school, Mr. Ercan served as executive articles editor for the Boston College Law Review, and he also wrote for the school's student impact blog and magazine. Additionally, Mr. Ercan worked in the Boston College Innocence Program, helping to exonerate individuals wrongfully convicted in the Massachusetts criminal justice system. Mr. Ercan also provided pro bono services for Catholic Legal Services, Archdiocese of Miami.
