Overview
Remy S. Farkas is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Miami office and a member of the Corporate Services Team. Ms. Farkas focuses her practice on public companies and securities, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and general corporate services.
While in law school, Ms. Farkas served as executive editor of the American University Business Law Review. She also gained experience as an intern with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) Scholars Program in the Division of Corporate Finance's Office of the Chief Counsel.
Ms. Farkas is committed to helping others, particularly in the area of education equity. Prior to law school, she served with Teach for America, where she taught seventh grade civics to low-income inner-city students in Miami. She also interned at the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (OESE) in School Support and Accountability.
