Jacob Adam Farquharson

Jake Farquharson is a corporate and securities attorney in Holland & Knight's New York office. Mr. Farquharson focuses on domestic and international capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other corporate finance and general corporate transactions.

Mr. Farquharson represents sponsors, issuers and investment banks in their public and private capital raising activities. He advises clients across a range of industries, including real estate and real estate investment trusts (REITs), Fideicomiso de Infraestructura en Bienes Raíces (FIBRAs), energy and infrastructure, hospitality and gaming, healthcare real estate and specialty finance involving mortgages, online consumer loans, corporate middle-market loans and other private credit assets.

Mr. Farquharson has participated in more than US$15 billion in equity capital raising transactions for issuers and investment banks, including initial public offerings (IPOs), follow-on equity and debt offerings, pre-IPO financings, 144A and Regulation S offerings, and other private placements.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Farquharson was an attorney at a large international law firm in its New York office.
