German Andres Gomez

Germán A. Gomez is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Bogotá office. Mr. Gomez's practice focuses on advising domestic and international employers on labor and employment matters, with an emphasis on the design of compensation strategies, local and expatriate hiring structures, as well as the legal management of terminations and retirement plans.

Mr. Gomez has experience conducting labor due diligence in local and cross-border transactions, providing comprehensive support in risk identification and structuring solutions aimed at operational efficiency and mitigation of labor contingencies.

In addition, Mr. Gomez regularly advises clients on the drafting and review of employment contracts, amendments to employment terms, disciplinary proceedings and the preparation of internal work regulations and human resources policies.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight in his current role, Mr. Gomez was a law clerk in the Bogotá office, where he assisted with reviewing employment contracts and preparing litigation and administrative proceedings.
