Emma S. Hagle

Emma Scott Hagle is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C., office and a member of the Private Wealth Services Group. Ms. Hagle advocates on behalf of national nonprofit organizations, including handling contested and uncontested trust and estate matters for charitable, medical, religious and educational organizations.

Ms. Hagle is experienced in nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations law, as well as corporate compliance. She focuses on accelerating and increasing nonprofit bequest revenue while honoring donor intent.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Hagle worked in-house at an international private foundation that makes grants and impact investments to support nonprofits. She also previously worked as a legal aide for the New York State Charities Bureau.

In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Hagle is a trained mediator. During law school, she mediated in New York City Small Claims Court and interned in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Office of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
