Evelyn Anderson Irwin

Evelyn Anderson Irwin is a business attorney in Holland & Knight's Chicago office and a member of the Financial Services Team. Ms. Irwin advises borrowers, lenders, sponsors and investors on complex debt financings and project development across the financial services, energy and infrastructure sectors.

Ms. Irwin counsels clients on senior secured credit and second-lien credit facilities, real estate finance matters and syndicated lending. She is known for efficiently executing multi-stakeholder transactions, aligning deal structures with business objectives and driving matters to timely, practical outcomes.

Ms. Irwin frequently represents sponsors, equity investors, developers and lenders in the development, construction and financing of energy and infrastructure projects, guiding transactions from term sheet and due diligence through closing and post‑closing matters.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Irwin was an attorney at a national law firm in its Chicago office.

While in law school, Ms. Irwin served on the editorial board of the Iowa Law Review as the senior note and comment editor.

Before attending law school, Ms. Irwin taught middle school as a member of the Teach for America Colorado Corps.
