Jennifer L. Kifer

Jennifer L. Kifer co-leads a national team of attorneys, fiduciary accountants and paralegals that advocates for nonprofit organizations as beneficiaries of matured bequests, helping clients honor donor intent while accelerating and increasing bequest revenue. Her practice spans the entire nonprofit sector, including charitable, medical, religious and educational organizations, in both contested and uncontested trust and estate matters.

Jennifer and her team work to help ensure that charitable gifts reach their intended beneficiaries in line with donors' wishes. The team's work also produces hundreds of productive fundraising and planned giving prospects for nonprofit organizations, adding long-term development value beyond each individual bequest.

Jennifer brings a broad litigation background to this work. She has handled a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters, including contract, labor and employment, healthcare, insurance, construction and business tort disputes and claims, and her legal background also extends to maritime and media law.

Jennifer previously served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Timothy J. Corrigan of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. During law school, she was a legal intern to Justice Barbara J. Pariente of the Florida Supreme Court. She graduated first in her law school class of 439.

In addition, Jennifer has taught at several institutions, including the University of Phoenix, Florida State College at Jacksonville and University of North Florida. Her combination of litigation experience and dedicated nonprofit focus allows her to help organizations protect donor intent while strengthening their fundraising pipelines.
