Overview
Evelyn Limón is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Boston office and a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. Ms. Limón focuses her practice in the areas of complex commercial civil litigation, with a particular focus on securities litigation and corporate governance, government investigations and white collar defense, and high-profile matters within the sports industry.
Ms. Limón has experience representing individuals and organizations in high-stakes government and internal investigations, as well as criminal proceedings. In particular, she guides clients through all stages of litigation and government investigations, including those by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG), state attorney general offices and sports league commissioners. Ms. Limón is also experienced in managing the electronic discovery process for litigation, internal investigations and governmental inquiries.
Prior to rejoining Holland & Knight, Ms. Limón was an associate at a large global law firm in its Boston office, where she represented and advised clients on a broad range of complex commercial litigation, securities and white collar matters.
While in law school, Ms. Limón represented the Norfolk District Attorney's Office in prosecuting criminal matters as a Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Rule 3:03 certified student attorney through the Boston University Criminal Law Clinical Program.
Before joining private practice, Ms. Limón completed a one-year urban education fellowship in Boston, where she tutored high school students and served as an assistant college counselor and completed a one-year AmeriCorps service fellowship in Boston.
