Kate Minnich

Overview
Kate Minnich is a tax attorney in Holland & Knight's Dallas office and focuses her practice on tax controversy matters. Ms. Minnich represents clients in complex federal and state tax disputes, including audits, administrative appeals and litigation. Her experience spans a wide range of industries and tax issues, with a focus on strategic resolution and advocacy before the IRS and state taxing authorities.
As a member of the Nonprofit and Tax-Exempt Organizations Team, Ms. Minnich advises public charities, private foundations and trade associations on governance, compliance and operational matters. She helps clients navigate IRS regulations, maintain tax-exempt status and implement best practices in board oversight and fiduciary responsibilities. Ms. Minnich also has considerable experience obtaining state property tax exemptions for nonprofit clients.
