Overview

Claire Neault is a business attorney in Holland & Knight's Dallas office and a member of the Tax Practice. Ms. Neault focuses her practice on federal, state and local taxation matters.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Neault was a summer associate in the Dallas office, where she gained valuable experience in tax controversy and transactional matters. She also externed with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel and U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Tax Division.

While in law school, Ms. Neault served as articles editor of the SMU Law Review and participated in the Mack Kidd Administrative Law Moot Court Competition.

Before attending law school, Ms. Neault interned at a Big Four accounting firm, where she gained experience in federal income tax issues related to domestic and multinational private equity and strategic mergers and acquisitions (M&A). She also participated in Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) clinics, assisting qualifying individuals with pro bono preparation of tax and other regulatory forms.
