Overview

Jessica Novey is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Philadelphia office who focuses her practice on employee benefits and executive compensation matters.

Ms. Novey advises public and private clients on a variety of executive compensation matters, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), public offerings, equity and debt financings, executive compensation disclosure agreements, Section 409A compliance, incentive compensation plans, severance plans and retention plans. She represents clients in a large number of industries, including financial services, consumer products and technology.

While in law school, Ms. Novey dedicated her time to tax compliance and tax controversy. She served as a student intern at the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, representing taxpayers in tax controversies with the IRS. Ms. Novey's prior experience also includes serving as a legal intern in the tax and benefits group for a Fortune 200 American company.
