Avery Ozimek

Avery Ozimek counsels public and privately held companies, institutional investors and senior executives on employee benefits and executive compensation, helping clients design and implement arrangements that support their business and talent objectives. Based in New York, she advises on compensation and benefits issues that arise in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financing arrangements and day-to-day plan administration.

Avery's work spans employee benefit plan design, administration and regulatory compliance, as well as the structuring and implementation of incentive compensation arrangements. She also advises on employment, severance and change-in-control arrangements.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Avery was an associate at a global law firm in New York. Her combined transactional and advisory experience allows her to address compensation and benefits issues in both day-to-day plan administration and corporate transactions.
