Overview

Katie Princivalle is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Philadelphia office, where she represents clients in federal, state and local administrative agencies and courts in a wide variety of complex litigation matters. Ms. Princivalle has experience with all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, appearing at court hearings and conferences, trying cases and handling appeals.

Ms. Princivalle also advises and assists banks and other clients to enhance and refine their regulatory compliance programs. She has significant experience researching and analyzing applicable state and federal laws and regulations, as well as counseling clients on the regulatory obligations stemming from those laws.

In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Princivalle maintains an active pro bono practice and dedicates part of her practice to protecting the rights of others. Currently, she manages a firmwide pro bono effort that seeks to gain asylum for more than 40 Afghan refugees.

While in law school, Ms. Princivalle assisted in researching and drafting an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court for Mckesson v. Doe regarding the chilling effect tort law claims would have if used against First Amendment protected protests. She also served as a student attorney for the Andy and Gwen Stern Community Lawyering Clinic, where her work included a submission to the United Nations condemning the use of nonlethal weapons during protest. Ms. Princivalle also served as the executive articles editor of the Drexel Law Review.
