Overview
Andrea M. Roberts is a real estate attorney in Holland & Knight's New York office who focuses her practice on litigation and loan servicing matters relating to commercial mortgage-backed securities.
Ms. Roberts has extensive experience representing financial institutions in all aspects of litigation and disputes in federal and state court, including class actions, quiet title, bankruptcy, consumer protection statutes such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and various state-specific statutes, including New York's Foreclosure Abuse Prevention Act (FAPA).
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Roberts was an attorney at a national law firm in its New York office, where she handled matters relating to residential mortgage loan servicers and lenders, as well as debt collectors and other financial institutions.
While in law school, Andrea was a member of the Pace International Law Review and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Anita Florio of the New York Supreme Court, Second Department.
