George G. Mr. Robertson has experience in all aspects of litigation, including trying cases and representing clients on appeal. Mr. Robertson focuses on general commercial litigation matters, and has handled disputes in the financial, oil and gas, railroad, consumer credit, healthcare and construction industries.

  • Assisted in successful representation of an oil and gas operator with regard to catastrophic failure of equipment during hydraulic fracturing operation
  • Assisted in successful representation of an oil and gas operator with regard to failed downhole casing, resulting in substantial damage to a well
  • Assisted in representing a midstream oil and gas company in gas gathering contract dispute

  • Assisting in representing a national banking association in commercial equipment leasing dispute
  • Assisting in representing a national lending company in a commercial dispute in South Carolina
  • Obtained an order of dismissal of a client in a defamation dispute in South Carolina for lack of personal jurisdiction, and further obtained a dismissal of the appeal of the order by the South Carolina Court of Appeals
  • Assisted in successful representation of a business broker in a commercial dispute in South Carolina
  • Obtained a favorable verdict for a construction company in a residential construction dispute, which was affirmed in part and reversed in part by the Georgia Court of Appeals
  • Assisted in successfully obtaining a denial of defendant's motion to compel arbitration in a putative Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) class action against a debt buyer, which was affirmed by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit
  • Assisted in representing a Class I railroad in litigation matters in state and federal courts involving the Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA) and general tort disputes
  • Assisted in obtaining a favorable verdict, including punitive damages, for an estate in a breach of fiduciary duty dispute against the executor in Georgia state court
  • Tried multiple trials to a verdict and obtained favorable judgments in each matter
  • Assisted with multistate and multimillion-dollar commercial disputes
