Overview

Isabella Ryan is a healthcare attorney in Holland & Knight's Nashville office. Ms. Ryan focuses her practice on False Claims Act (FCA) litigation, qui tam matters and government enforcement investigations.

Ms. Ryan also advises hospitals, health systems and other healthcare industry clients on regulatory matters, including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), Stark Law, corporate practice of medicine and FCA compliance.

In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Ryan is active in the community. She was recently successful in advocating for a new state law in Tennessee to limit the solitary confinement of minors. She also volunteers with various community organizations.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Ryan worked as a fraud and abuse legal intern at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (HHS-OIG). In law school, Ms. Ryan served as the editor-in-chief of the Emory Law Journal.

Prior to her legal career, Ms. Ryan worked at an outpatient neurosurgical center and at a national research university.
