Overview
Keeley Smith is a public policy and regulation attorney in Holland & Knight's Tallahassee office, where she advises national and international insurance companies on regulatory and legislative matters.
In addition to insurance regulation, Ms. Smith is experienced in navigating the regulatory frameworks of general contractor and brokerage licensing in a number of states.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Smith was an attorney at a national law firm in its Tallahassee office, where she gained insight into corporate transactions and a broad array of regulatory matters.
While in law school, Ms. Smith gained valuable experience as a judicial extern at the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings and as a legislative fellow with the State Affairs and Pandemics and Public Emergencies committees at the Florida House of Representatives.
Ms. Smith also served as the managing editor of The Florida State University Law Review, as a contributing brief writer to the Florida State University College of Law Moot Court Team and as a research assistant to Professor Erin Ryan.
