Overview
Benjamin J. Tyler is a Miami attorney and a member of the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. Mr. Tyler focuses his practice on general commercial litigation, representing domestic and international clients in state and federal courts.
Prior to rejoining Holland & Knight, where he began his legal career, Mr. Tyler served as a law clerk for the Honorable Rodolfo Ruiz II in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. After his clerkship, Mr. Tyler worked on the Voter Protection Team for President Joe Biden's 2020 campaign and served as the general counsel for a statewide political party.
While in law school, Mr. Tyler was an articles editor for the Notre Dame Journal of Law Ethics & Public Policy and a co-director of the Group Alternative Live-In Legal Education (GALILEE) public interest law program. Mr. Tyler served as an extern at the National Immigrant Justice Center and interned in the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.
