Overview

Bishop M. Walton is a litigation and dispute resolution attorney in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C., office. Mr. Walton focuses his practice on white collar defense, congressional investigations and high-stakes communication.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight as an attorney, Mr. Walton was a summer associate in the firm's Washington, D.C., and Tysons offices.

While in law school, Mr. Walton served on the advance staff for the Office of Barack and Michelle Obama, where he gained experience in vetting processes, communicating confidentially and managing risks at a high level. He also served as the lead teaching assistant in an undergraduate course titled "Fundamentals of the U.S. Legal System," a course he assisted in structuring and developing with Dean Donald M. Scotten.

He also completed internships in the Office of U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), as well as the Office of U.S. House of Representatives Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.).
