Jessica Ragosta Early is a member of the Holland & Knight's Litigation Practice Group in the Boston office. She concentrates her practice in complex civil litigation, with particular emphasis on litigation involving business/commercial disputes, environmental cost recovery and property damage, toxic torts, product liability, intellectual property, unfair trade practices and fiduciary law.

Ms. Early's experience includes all phases of litigation. She represents clients at the trial and appellate level, and in state and federal courts. As part of her practice, Ms. Early has briefed and argued a wide range of motions, conducted depositions of expert and fact witnesses, prepared clients and experts to testify at trial, assisted with and served as lead counsel at trial, managed large document productions and prepared appellate briefs.

Among the clients Ms. Early has represented are: a major oil and gas company in a variety of actions alleging statutory violations, environmental torts and product liability claims; an investment management company in litigation seeking to redress breaches of contract and fiduciary duty committed by the general partner of multiple real estate investment partnerships; various commercial entities in complex contract disputes; several major media companies in litigation involving copyright infringement and other issues; individuals and businesses in connection with claims of misappropriation of trade secrets, employees, and corporate opportunities; and institutional and individual fiduciaries facing allegations of breach of fiduciary duty.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Early served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Scott L. Kafker, Chief Justice of the Massachusetts Appeals Court. She also interned as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Margaret R. Hinkle (Ret.) of the Business Litigation Session of the Massachusetts Superior Court.
