New York Labor, Employment and Benefits Practice Group Leader Frederick Braid will speak at NYU School of Law's 63rd Annual Conference on Labor titled, Resolving Labor and Employment Disputes: A Practical Guide.

Mr. Braid will moderate two panels having to do with advocacy before the National Labor Relation Board's General Counsel, using topical issues to provide insight into the NLRB's processes and its consideration of cutting edge issues. 

Discussion topics will include:

  • Class action arbitration waivers and section 7 rights
  • Seeking injunctive relief pending the outcome of NLRB proceedings  

NLRB Chairperson Wilma Liebman, newly appointed NLRB member Craig Becker and NLRB General Counsel Ronald Meisburg, as well as EEOC Commissioner Chai Feldblum and U.S. Solicitor of Labor Patricia Smith will participate in the Conference.
