Oregon State Bar Advanced Estate Planning CLE

Tax and Estate Planning and Administration Partner Josh Husbands will speak at the Oregon State Bar Advanced Estate Planning CLE on asset protection planning.

The seminar will examine 2010 federal and state estate taxes, 2010 late-year planning strategies and planning for 2011 and beyond. Practitioners will address how Oregon’s elective share law is changing and discuss asset protection techniques, how to defend against an IRS attack on family entity planning and how to work with a valuation expert. Finally, the seminar will review common trust drafting errors and ethical considerations for estate planning lawyers.
