Grab a slice, network and enjoy a thoughtful discussion on key policy issues. The Holland & Knight Policy & Pizza series was created to provide an informal setting in which young policy and legal professionals examine issues across the policy spectrum and engage their colleagues and peers in discussion. The lunch series is held every other month, with a focus on pressing and topical policy issues.
Our April session, "Indian Country: Meet the Players & Learn the Policy," will be spearheaded by Holland & Knight Senior Public Affairs Advisor Kayla Gebeck, who will provide an introduction to the political landscape of federal Indian law and policy. Ms. Gebeck provides policy representation for tribal governments, Alaska Native Corporations and their enterprises on legislative and regulatory matters with the primary goal of promoting the health and economic well-being of tribal communities. Her areas of focus include tax policy, economic development, appropriations, agriculture, education, environment, federal relations, healthcare, housing, natural resources, self-governance, social services and trust land.
Join us to learn who the key players are and how Indian Country is faring under the 115th Congress, including recent developments in agriculture, tax, healthcare, infrastructure and more.
