The ESOP Association’s Midwest Regional Conference 2018

The Illinois, Iowa/Nebraska, Minnesota/Dakotas and Wisconsin Chapters of The ESOP Association will convene for their annual Midwest Regional Conference this year in Rosemont, Ill. Conference Planning Committee member Renee Lewis and fellow Holland & Knight attorneys Grant McCorkhill, Gregory Brown and Christopher Buch will all participate in unique programming on employee stock ownership plans.

Ms. Lewis will speak on the "When Should You Consider Selling an ESOP Company" breakout panel as well as the interactive "Best of Best: ESOP Jeopardy" program, which will involve topics such as basic ESOP mechanics, rights and obligations of companies and other participants, and some of the basic deadlines and trigger events in the life of a plan.

Mr. McCorkhill will contribute to "Effective Board of Directors and Dealing with Perplexing Issues," Mr. Brown will help present on "Best Practices: Pre-Transaction and Ongoing Diligence for ESOP Companies," and Mr. Buch will join the discussion on "DOL Process Agreements in Practice."
