Parallel Civil Proceedings

Litigation Partner Manfred Gabriel will speak at the Practising Law Institute's program on government investigations and parallel civil proceedings. Speakers will outline the scope and limits of investigations, responses to investigations and parallel class actions, with a focus on electronic information and data breaches. Mr. Gabriel's session will focus on parallel civil proceedings, answering questions about how they develop, when and why they may be stayed, and what protections are available for the information produced in investigations that may be subject to attorney-client privilege and/or constitute work product.
