Board Litigation and Risk Management

Labor, Employment and Benefits attorney Lindsey Camp will participate in the ESOP Association's Great Lakes Regional Conference in Ohio. Her presentation will provide board members with an overview of their responsibilities under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), requirements for board and committee composition, and other duties to keep in mind. In light of an uptick in U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) investigations against board members and ERISA litigation, she will also cover best practices for reducing litigation risks.
