Data privacy and cybersecurity attorney Mark Francis will be presenting at a hybrid event hosted by the Practising Law Institute about the legal ethics issues implicated by social media use, current online trends and collaborative tools.

Mr. Francis' first panel will explore social media in the courtroom. This panel will cover topics such as navigating rules on social media interaction with opposing parties, non-parties, jurors and the judge and how to avoid risks of attorney censure, disbarment, or sanctions.

Mr. Francis' second panel will discuss how clients must proactively and reactively deal with media and social media demands. During this session he will explore the lawyer as an advisor in that process.
