Demystifying Access to Capital

Public finance attorney Michael Wiener will participate in a workshop hosted by the Business Development Board of Martin County designed to guide business owners and entrepreneurs on obtaining access to capital. Sourcing the capital needed to start and grow a business can come in a variety of forms, from traditional loans to government grants. During this workshop, speakers will outline the methods used to gain access to capital markets, including micro-loans, small business tools and private investors. They will also cover how to prepare a request for funding and how to create an effective business plan.
