Financial Services attorney Eamonn Moran will participate in the Practising Law Institute's (PLI) 11th Annual Alternative Finance Summit, a day-long program examining what developments in alternative finance mean for financial technology (FinTech), blockchain technology and crowdfunding platforms. Mr. Moran will join a panel to review updates involving FinTech warehouse facilities, loan purchase facilities and small business lending. His session will aim to help participants identify pain points in commercial lending, such as custody and servicing, conduct due diligence in commercial lending, feel confident in selecting a servicing firm through understanding its role and risk allocation, and evaluate the effectiveness of a personal guaranty, among other areas.
