Tax attorneys Jennifer Karpchuk and Christopher Rizek will participate in the 2025 Philadelphia Tax Conference. The conference will feature presentations on a variety of tax-related topics, from federal tax developments to IRS regulatory guidance to partnership tax updates. Registration is available for in-person and virtual attendance.

Ms. Karpchuk will join a panel discussion highlighting legislative trends, administrative developments and case law updates in state and local tax. Panelists will address areas including sales and use tax, taxation of digital products and business tax issues in Pennsylvania. Ms. Karpchuk will additionally moderate a conversation among corporate tax leaders about priority issues including recent U.S. tax legislation, Pillar One and Pillar Two, compliance questions and talent retention. The session will offer counsel a look into how their clients are approaching tax matters and how best they can meet their needs.

Mr. Rizek will speak on proposed revisions to the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Circular 230, which regulates practice before the IRS. He will detail how the proposed changes could affect tax lawyers and other practitioners.
