All on the Same Team: For the Rights of Refugees

Attorneys Gerardo Prado Hernández y Margarita Ríos-Farjat will participate as speakers in an event coordinated among Appleseed México, Universidad La Salle, the UNHCR y Holland & Knight to commemorate World Refugee Day. The United Nations National Assembly established this day to recognize the strength, resilience and rights of refugees throughout the world. During this program, presenters will shed light on the legal barriers refugees in Mexico face today, as well as solutions brought forth by legal actors. Mr. Prado will offer opening remarks, and Ms. Ríos-Farjat will analyze court decisions involving migration, refugees and other displaced persons.
