Essentials of Estate Planning and Drafting

Private Wealth Services attorney Brian Balduzzi will speak at Rutgers Law School during a program designed to strengthen attorneys' estate planning knowledge. Brian will explain how practitioners can translate a client's personal and financial objectives into a coordinated plan using wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, beneficiary designations and related documents. He will also address the New Jersey inheritance tax and federal generation-skipping transfer, gift and estate tax rules that may shape planning decisions. Attendees will gain a foundation for developing and implementing estate plans in New Jersey and other jurisdictions.
