2022 Pro Bono Publico Award Recipient

Dallas attorney Mark Melton spoke for an American Bar Association (ABA) Center for Pro Bono video on his Pro Bono Publico Award. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Melton recruited more than 250 Dallas attorneys to aid residents in understanding the legal process of evictions. This nonprofit initiative has become the Dallas Eviction Advocacy Center that has helped more than 10,000 tenants at no charge.
