She recalls being welcomed immediately and getting straight to work for her clients.
"I knew what I was doing, I was welcomed. I mean, from where I'm going to sit to what team I'm going to be on and how I can immediately get on with my clients to achieving what they needed," said Ms. Deal, a public affairs advisor focused on state governmental affairs.
Tori Deal: So, for me, it was a no-brainer coming from government to here. You know, I knew day one I would be on the same team as a former governor and a former DEP secretary, and that is invaluable. When I came to Holland & Knight, it was day one – I knew what I was doing, I was welcomed. I mean, from where I'm going to sit to what team I'm going to be on and how I can immediately get on with my clients to achieving what they needed. Day one, starting here, this is what you're doing, and the people are amazing, welcoming.
And then, also, I would say this firm has a big entrepreneurial spirit. I've never not presented an idea with full support. At this firm, it's, bring us ideas and what can we do to make you successful. I'm just proud to be Team HK. And I'm excited to see what we accomplish in the future. I do believe the sky's the limit with this firm, and I am here for it.
