Nationwide Injunction Issued for the Department of Labor's FLSA Overtime Rule Changes
On November 22, a federal court in Texas has issued a nationwide injunction of the Department of Labor's final rule increasing the minimum salary level required to qualify for an exemption from the Fair Labor Standards Act's overtime rules. The Final Rule was previously set to go into effect on December 1.
