Partner Susan Booth, who is also head of the West Coast Real Estate Group, spoke with Law360 as part of a Q-and-A interview series featuring deal-making movers and shakers.
Ms. Booth, in response to a question about the most challenging deal she's worked on, said: "One of the reasons that I love what I do is that the work is always challenging, and the challenges take many forms. There is the basic challenge that presents itself in every deal: 'How can I obtain the best result for my client with the maximum efficiency?' There are also challenges created by structure, timing and people. I find that structural challenges can be resolved by thinking creatively and timing challenges can be resolved with the help of a great team willing to roll up its sleeves and get the work done."
