Trump’s Lobbying Ban May Not Curb K Street Influence

President Trump's recent executive order limiting the future lobbying potential of his officials may not be very effective, ethics watchdogs say. His ethics policy has created many loopholes that have already allowed some Trump insiders to make their way to K Street. Holland & Knight's own Senior Policy Advisor Scott Mason previously served on Trump's campaign as congressional liaison.
"I'm uniquely positioned with extraordinary relationships across Capitol Hill but also deep relations within the administration," said Mr. Mason.
