False Claims Landscape Could Change After Decision Drops

Bloomberg Law

White Collar Defense and Investigations attorney Megan Mocho Jeschke was quoted in a Bloomberg Law article which discusses an upcoming Supreme Court decision that could allow more time for whistleblowers to speak out about alleged violations. According to the article, the healthcare industry accounted for approximately 90 percent of the False Claims Act recoveries in 2017 and 2018, and therefore could be seriously affected by the June decision.

Ms. Jeschke stated "I do think you’ll see more [whistleblower] claims come forward," while others do not believe that the Supreme Court decision will have a major impact.
