Mexican President Submits Bill to Boost State's Role in Fuels Market
Energy Partner Rodolfo Rueda was interviewed by The Wall Street Journal about a bill sent to Mexico's Congress that aims to increase state control of the country's energy market, including potentially taking over private sector operations. Mr. Rueda spoke about how the bill could affect private renewable energy companies.
"This is an imminent risk, which removes legal certainty in the sector," he said. "The bill proposes the temporary intervention in private facilities that could end up in Pemex's hands."
