ABA Journal

Healthcare & Life Sciences attorney Jennifer Rangel was quoted in an ABA Journal article about the Cancer Legal Advocacy Interest Group, which aims to protect the legal rights of cancer patients and their families. Additionally, the group trains attorneys on how to help people dealing with a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Ms. Rangel started working with on the project in the 2000s and is now the Vice Chair. She explained that patients often need help preparing wills or navigating employment law issues. Ms. Rangel described her experience working with firms representing the employers.
