Colombia’s Economy Will Lose 88 Billion Pesos by 2050 if the Energy Transition Is Delayed

Energy attorney Inés Vesga was cited in an article by Cambio, which warns of the financial risk Colombia faces if the country doesn’t move the energy transition forward. Ms. Vesga explained that Colombia should increase the percentage of renewable energy in the country’s energy mix in a way that is organized, social and fiscally sustainable.

“The other side of adapting to climate change has been neglected, which is energy efficiency,” said Ms. Vesga.
