Corporate Services attorney Alejandro Bravo was interviewed for an article by Portafolio that examines the current state of trade relations between Colombia and Venezuela after the reopening of the border between the two countries in September 2022. He also explained the importance of conducting due diligence focused on risks when doing business with Venezuelan companies.
"Likewise, if the development of commercial activity is not allowed, the issuance of an OFAC authorization can be arranged so that it can be carried out under strict limits and control," he said.
